LC, commissioned by Catena, has built a logistics facility in Åstorp in southern Sweden, spanning 11,100 square meters. The tenant in the property is Seafrigo Nordic, an international third-party logistics company specializing in the handling and storage of food.
The facility, with a capacity for storing 25,000 pallets, includes both refrigerated and frozen storage and is equipped with backup power to ensure operations even during an extended power outage. The facility also features a tunnel for the rapid freezing of entire pallets of food.
Solar panels are installed on the roof, and the facility is constructed for certification according to Miljöbyggnad, Silver level.
